ALGORITHM OF AUTOMATIC SAFETY SWITCHING IN FOCL LINEAR PATH BACKUP

We propose an algorithm of automatic protective switching when backup the linear tract of fiber optic communication lines. The protective switching time is reduced to 10 ms. The proposed algorithm allows timely warning of the main channel degradation and performing fast switching to the backup channel before the FEC limit is reached. Fast switching allows minimizing the transmitted data loss.
