Critical communications from cellular operator on the basis of RONET system. The end DOI: 10.22184/2070-8963.2025.127.3.54.58
The application of 3G/4G/5G operator networks for providing critical communications services is considered. Possibility of using the RONET critical communications system deployed on the public network of the operator for solving the tasks of Business Critical and Mission Critical class is substantiated. Different models of critical communications service provision by the operator and implementation experience of such systems on the networks of telecom operators in Russia are considered. The RONET system of RoS technology is briefly described.
Methods of Interference Reduction for IEEE 802.11 Communication Networks on High-Speed Railways DOI: 10.22184/2070-8963.2025.127.3.60.68
A review of techniques and methods in Wi-Fi technology, which allow its application to railway communication tasks, is presented. The work is carried out within the framework of the grant "Research of methods to increase the interference immunity of 4G/5G/6G, Wi-Fi, IoT mobile communication systems using signal-code constructions for complex channels in accordance with the Telecommunications Industry Development Strategy 2035" of the National Research University Higher School of Economics.
Russian telecom: moving forward DOI: 10.22184/2070-8963.2025.127.3.18.20
It is important to ensure a balance of simultaneous development of industrial and technological potentials DOI: 10.22184/2070-8963.2025.127.3.22.23
Thousands of faces in the artificial intelligence mirror DOI: 10.22184/2070-8963.2025.127.3.40.44
The information communication world is moving towards the widespread use of artificial intelligence (AI) systems capable of processing huge amounts of data and quickly turning them into concrete actions. Further progress in AI depends not so much on increasing volumes of data, but rather on technological breakthroughs, new approaches to accelerating learning and optimising resources. The paper considers one of the options for using AI within the framework of "industrial co-evolution".
On the achievability of goals in the telecommunications development DOI: 10.22184/2070-8963.2025.127.3.46.48
An important role in defining telecommunications development strategies is played by correct goal-setting, including elaboration of basic principles and basic technical requirements for prospective networks. On the one hand, the goals should be inspiring and non-trivial, and on the other hand, they should not be detached from reality, but should be set achievable goals. Examples of unattainable goals formulated in some international and domestic documents are considered, possible negative consequences of this are indicated, and measures aimed at preventing such cases are proposed.
Professional reference systems as a tool of technological development DOI: 10.22184/2070-8963.2025.127.3.50.53
Creation of a new technical product is a long and painstaking process. Developers often need not only high competences and a well thought-out work plan, but also a high-quality information environment. The example of the experience of the production company "DKC" shows what role in the successful implementation of innovative projects and ensuring high quality of final solutions is played by modern digital tools that facilitate the work with regulatory information.
Rostelecom "fairy-tale" business DOI: 10.22184/2070-8963.2025.127.3.78.79
RTK IT Plus, a member of Rostelecom IT family, presented a renewed ecosystem of its own IT solutions, called Lukomorye, in April.
New tests of the SHTV all-weather cabinet in a climatic chamber DOI: 10.22184/2070-8963.2025.127.3.28.31
The Russian-Belarusian production group REMER develops and manufactures on its own industrial base mounting structures for telecommunications and data centres under the TsMO brand. The paper describes tests of SHTV-1-30.7.6-K3AA-TK-MC3 all-weather cabinet with a climatic system (air conditioner with built-in heater 1000 W) in a cold chamber.
Modular-cassette scheme and SCS standards DOI: 10.22184/2070-8963.2025.127.3.32.38
The variants of construction of SCS stationary lines for machine halls of data processing centres on the basis of modular-cassette technique are considered. Full compliance of this technical solution with the requirements of standards is shown. The expediency of treating the cassette line connector as a technological component and the possibility of providing its required characteristics at the existing state of the art is substantiated.
Fiber-optic solutions for data centres with packet interfaces based on Ethernet. Part 2. Solutions using fiber-optic technologies DOI: 10.22184/2070-8963.2025.127.3.70.76
This paper series explores the use of fiber optic solutions to support high transmission rates in data centres, including standardisation of Ethernet solutions for flows from 100 to 1600 Gbps (Part 1); data centre solutions using fiber optic technology (part 2); evolution of pluggable optical transceiver modules (transceivers) for data centres (part 3); standardised coherent solutions for DCI data centre interconnect networks (part 4); and connector and cable selection for data centres (part 5).
