DIAGRAM DEVELOPMENT MODELS IN ULTRA-DENSE NETWORKS OF 5G RADIO ACCESS. PART 2. ESTIMATION OF DEVICE OFFSET DOI: 10.22184/2070-8963.2021.96.4.66.72
In the second part of the study devoted to the models and methods of diagramming in the ultra-dense networks of 5G radio access, the first approximation of the necessary territorial separation of neighboring transceiver devices to maintain the permissible level of intrinsic system interference is given. The results of mathematical and imitative simulation show that the required territorial separation should be approximately 20% of the range of radio coverage of network devices operating in diagram-forming mode with a variation of the angles of 2°.
INFLUENCE OF LIGHTINGS ON OPERATION OF COHERENT FOCL DOI: 10.22184/2070-8963.2021.96.4.24.30
Coherent communication systems have made a revolutionary breakthrough in the development of fiber-optic DWDM communication lines, dramatically increasing the bandwidth of networks and the range of non-regenerative transmission. However it was found, that lightning strikes, causing a rapid rotation of the polarization state of a lightwave with information signal, can interrupt the operation of coherent FOCL based on aerial fiber-optic cables located in a ground wire. To ensure uninterrupted operation of those coherent communication systems in case of lightning strikes two ways are possible. The first one is development of more fast digital information processing systems for coherent receivers. The second one is development of new types of optical ground wire cables (OPGW), in which the induced magnetic field is much smaller than that in OPGW used today.
CABEX IN EXPOCENTRE DOI: 10.22184/2070-8963.2021.96.4.32.39
In March 16-18, the largest cable event in Russia and the CIS, the 19th International Exhibition of Cabex Cable and Conductors were held at the Expocentre Fairgrounds. Its participants and guests had to wait for the meeting two years: the previous exhibition took place in March 2019. CABEX 2021 showed that the offline format is still interesting as to exhibitors and visitors.
THE TASK OF PLANNING THE INFRASTRUCTURE OF SMART CITIES IN TERMS OF MATHEMATICAL PROGRAMMING DOI: 10.22184/2070-8963.2021.96.4.74.79
The general approach to the planning of the infrastructure of the smart city on the basis of the mainstream use of modular multifunctional lighting supports is considered. It is proposed to use a mathematical programming machine to optimize the business parameters of infrastructure operators. Demonstrated are the ways to resolve some problems when creating a mathematical model.

NETWORK 2030: ITU-T’S PERSPECTIVE ON THE FUTURE OF FIXED NETWORKS DOI: 10.22184/2070-8963.2021.96.4.50.59
An overview of the results of the study "Network 2030" carried out by the ITU-T FG NET-2030 focus group on studying the possibilities and principles of building fixed communication networks for the period up to 2030 and in the future is presented in the article. The evolution of the concepts of fixed communication networks and the problems of modern networks that need to be solved when building the Network 2030 are shown. The basic principles and architecture of the Network 2030, as well as the basic and composite services that the new network infrastructure will support, are considered.
MPTL LINES TERMINAL INTERFACE FORMATION MEANS DOI: 10.22184/2070-8963.2021.96.4.40.45
The need to introduce new classes of lines on the basis of cables formed by twisted pairs and develop a specialized element base to generate the terminal interface of such lines are substantiated. The well-known solutions of this task on the basis of classical and modernized male inlets of modular connectors, as well as copper core pigtails are considered. Examples of the implementation of closer terminals and means of fastening the housings to the linear cable are given.
SPACE COMMUNICATION BECOME MORE COMPACT DOI: 10.22184/2070-8963.2021.96.4.14.18
What is the role of satellites in 5G and IoT ecosystems? Are the satellites placed in geostationary and non-geostationary orbits competitors or intercomplementary systems? What is proposed by the satellite equipment manufacturers, and what is the position of operators? These and other topics were discussed at the XIII International conference "Satellite RUSSIA & CIS 2021" which was conducted on April 8-9, 2021.
