The XXIX International Forum on Information and Communication Technologies with the TIBO-2023 exhibition organized in Minsk by the Ministry of Communications and Informatisation with the participation of a wide range of other government agencies of the Republic of Belarus traditionally became the event of the Eurasian Economic Union scale by including the 5th Eurasian Digital Forum EADF’2023 into its programme. A distinctive feature of the TIBO-2023 exhibition was the unprecedentedly large-scale participation of the telecommunication and IT companies from the Russian Federation.

LTE NETWORK POSITIONING TECHNOLOGY. PART 4. SDR-DEMONSTRATOR IN THE FIELD CONDITIONS DOI: 10.22184/2070-8963.2023.112.4.34.41
The final part of the study on LTE network positioning technology presents the results of experimental testing of SDR-demonstrator in the field conditions in terms of verification of performance implemented on the FPGA procedures for collecting primary distance measurements from the base station layout (eNB) and secondary processing of the user device layout (UE) with the final estimate of coordinates in Matlabenvironment. Tests of the SDR demonstrator were conducted in the field conditions under near-perfect synchronization of the eNB mockups, in the absence of probable re-reflections in radio wave propagation between the eNB mockups and the UE.

When deploying 5G mobile networks on top of existing or newly built network infrastructure, operators and telecommunications service providers are interested inadopting open solutions, allowing the use of hardware platforms and software from different vendors in the same network. This interest is also being stimulated by introduction of new, cloud-based technologies on 5G networks with extensive use of data centers. This series of publications defines the basic elements (part 1) and provides an overview of the standardization work (part 2) of open solutions and interfaces for 5G network infrastructure.

The standard for wireless data transmission IEEE 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6) is considered. The analysis of technical characteristics and technologies, defined signal and system parameters of the standard was considered. The simulation computer model using Matlab software environment in the Simulink package is developed. The noise immunity characteristic of the system in conditions of the channel with additive white Gaussian noise is obtained.

Further development of the Internet in the field of direct interaction with a human brain is considered. There will be a universal environment where people will be able to "communicate" through neural connections. The result of introduction of such a neuronet will be the space of a general mind, where the traditional "slow" tools of communication (thoughts, gestures, words) are simply not necessary. This innovation brings new opportunities and new risks to civilization.

NEXT GENERATION OF SMALL-SIZE OPTICAL CONNECTORS FOR INTERNAL CABLE SYSTEMS DOI: 10.22184/2070-8963.2023.112.4.28.33
The feasibility of introducing next-generation VSFF (very small form factor) small-size connectors, providing a fourfold increase in structural density, into the optical subsystem of SCS is shown. Requirements for VSFF products mass-dimensional parameters are presented and peculiarities of their design implementation are considered. The possibility of practical introduction of the intermediate connector type, which is more convenient for operation in office SCS, is substantiated. It is predicted that there will be no obsolescence of VSFF structures until 2035.
