CIPR-2023 THROUGH THE EYES OF A COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST The VIII Annual Conference "Digital Industry of Industry of Russia" (CIPR-2023) held in Nizhny Novgorod on May 31 – June 2 set another record in terms of the number of participants. Along with the main topic of digital independence of the domestic industry, the event paid a lot of attention to telecommunication topics, which were the focus of the session "Communications and Networking. A New Map of Domestic Telecom Services" and a session of the Industrial Competence Center (ICC) "Mobile Communications".
In the pavilion worked dual-band LTE network, deployed on software and hardware completely Russian development.

The use of artificial intelligence technologies for analyzing network data
in the 5G Core network (5G Core) is considered. The features and role of
machine learning (ML) in the management of the 5G Core network are

Possibility of modernization of a standard office information-telecommunication system by building a PoLAN network in it by superimposing its equipment on the existing structured cabling system is shown. The variants of fulfillment of this procedure and peculiarities of their realization are considered. Possibility of solving the problem at the minimum volume of construction and installation works is demonstrated.

When deploying 5G mobile networks on top of existing or newly built
optical transport infrastructure, network operators and telecom
service providers are interested in implementing open solutions that
enable hardware platforms (HPs) and software/operating systems
(software/OS) from different vendors to be deployed on the same
transport network. This interest is also stimulated by introduction of
new, cloud-based, technologies on 5G networks with extensive use of
data centers. For open optical transport solutions, vertical (separation
of APs and software/OS) and horizontal (functional decomposition of
network nodes) disaggregation options are considered. The series of
papers presents fully or partially disaggregated solutions (part 1), gives
an overview of works on standardization of solutions (part 2) for open
optical transport networks.
