Comparative Analysis of Methods for Configuring LTE Network Base Station Parameters DOI: 10.22184/2070-8963.2026.133.1.34.41
A systematic analysis of the key methods for optimizing LTE mobile network base station settings has been conducted. Approaches based on self-organizing networks (SON, Self-Organizing Network), analysis of key indicators of pilot and useful signals, and manual engineering configuration are considered. For each method, the implementation principles, as well as its advantages and limitations, are presented in detail.

Ray Tracing in Fifth-Generation and Beyond Radio Access Networks. Part 2. Theoretical Foundations and Practical Application of the SBR Method DOI: 10.22184/2070-8963.2026.133.1.42.50
The paper continues the series dedicated to ray tracing issues in fifth-generation and beyond radio access networks and systematizes the theoretical foundations and practical application scenarios of the Shooting and Bouncing Rays (SBR) method. The physical principles and mathematical models of the SBR method are considered. Using simulation modeling in the Matlab software environment with digital terrain models, the mechanism for adapting the SBR method to the task of predicting ray trajectories in radio access networks with base stations employing antenna arrays is illustrated.

Multibeam and Scanning Antennas: Development for Satellite Systems over the Last 20 Years DOI: 10.22184/2070-8963.2026.133.1.62.72
A comprehensive analysis is conducted on design methods development, calculation, and practical implementation of spherical reflector antennas with multibeam systems from 2005 to 2025. The theoretical foundations of hybrid-reflector configurations, evolution of reflector array technologies, and application of these technologies in satellite communication systems in various orbits—from geo stationary (GEO) to low Earth orbit (LEO) satellites and megaconstellations are considered. Special attention is given to compensating spherical aberration methods, techniques for controlling radiation patterns and polarization characteristics, as well as an analysis of transitional forms between classical systems and modern intelligent reflective surfaces based on metamaterials. A critical analysis of the applicability of different antenna technologies in the context of satellite systems is carried out.
